Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Audi A4 B5

When driving at speed, the vehicle’s chassis is subjected to significant loads, particularly due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can lead to significant twisting or deformation of the body and, consequently, a loss of tyre grip.

Twisting and deformation of the chassis while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
