Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Audi A4 B7

When driving at speed, a car’s bodywork is subjected to significant loads, mainly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This causes chassis flex and bodywork deformation, which can result in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis flex and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to add rigidity to the rear section of the bodywork.
