The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to reduce body twisting and improve chassis stiffness. During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to high loads caused by the transfer of the vehicle’s weight.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes significant deformation and twisting of the chassis, which can lead to the tyres losing grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing brace helps limit these effects and contributes to more stable vehicle behaviour.
