The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to reduce body flexing and twisting during dynamic driving. During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to stress due to the transfer of the body’s mass.
When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes greater flexing or deformation and twisting of the body, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The brace is designed for the lower rear section of the chassis and is attached at 2 mounting points.
The product is intended only for Audi A8 D3 (4E) vehicles with a 4.2 V8 FSI engine and four-wheel drive, and Audi S8 D3 (4E) vehicles with a 5.2 FSI engine and four-wheel drive.
Suitable for: Audi A8 III (4E), Audi S8 II (D3).
