The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly caused by body weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and hard acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. The result is greater deformation, body twisting and loss of tyre grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps increase the stiffness of this area.
