When cornering at speed, braking hard and accelerating, the vehicle chassis is exposed to significant loads as the weight of the body is transferred from one side of the vehicle to the other.
When driving through a corner, one side of the vehicle can be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes the chassis to twist and deform, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis flex when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps further connect the mounting points and reduce these undesirable effects.
