Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Citroen DS4 I

The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to reduce body flex and improve chassis rigidity during dynamic driving.

The vehicle chassis is the part exposed to the greatest loads during driving. These loads are caused mainly by the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can result in significant deformation and flexing of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and flexing during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
