Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Honda Accord VII (CM5) (US version)

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in greater deformation and twisting of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
