Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Honda Civic/CRX EF/ED/EE

The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace connects the mounting points at the rear of the suspension and helps limit body twisting. It is designed to reduce chassis flexing during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.

During dynamic driving, the chassis is subjected to loads primarily due to the transfer of the body’s mass. When cornering, one side of the vehicle can experience up to three times more load than the other, causing body twisting and loss of tyre grip.

Excessive chassis twisting can affect handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace helps improve body rigidity and therefore provides more predictable vehicle behaviour.
