The vehicle chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or intense acceleration.
When cornering, the transfer of weight to one side of the vehicle can result in up to three times greater loading than on the other side. This causes considerable chassis flex or deformation and torsional loads on the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace helps reduce undesirable chassis movement and improve its rigidity.
