The vehicle chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can result in significant chassis deformation and twisting, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
This rear lower chassis brace is secured at 4 points and is intended for Hyundai Genesis/Rohens Coupe (BK) vehicles with the 2.0T 2WD engine, as well as 3.8 2WD facelift versions. For the 2.0T 2WD version, left-hand-drive versions and versions with a brake stopper are also listed.
