Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Hyundai Ioniq AE/Kia Niro I

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident when the vehicle’s weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When driving through a corner, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in greater loads on the chassis, as well as twisting and deformation of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The rear lower chassis brace helps limit these undesirable body movements.
