The vehicle chassis is subjected to high loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or intense acceleration.
When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can result in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The brace is designed to increase the rigidity of the lower rear section of the chassis. It is attached at 4 points.
Suitable for: Jaguar XF I (X250).
