Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Land Rover Freelander 2/Evoque

The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace with 2 mounting points further connects and strengthens the lower section of the chassis.

The vehicle chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest load due to the driver’s driving style. This is particularly evident from the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

In some cases, weight transfer while cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force 3 times greater than the other. This can result in significant chassis twisting, body deformation and torsional twist, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Deformation and twisting of the vehicle chassis while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

This is where Ultra Racing braces come into play.
