The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to reduce body flex and twisting during dynamic driving. The product has 4 mounting points.
The vehicle’s chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving. Loads occur mainly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This can cause considerable flexing and twisting of the chassis or body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Flexing and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
