Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Mazda RX-7 III FD

The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to reduce body twisting during dynamic driving in the Mazda RX-7 III FD. During fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to stress caused by the transfer of the body’s weight.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This leads to greater chassis flexing and twisting, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis twisting while cornering can negatively affect vehicle handling, including by causing understeer or oversteer. The brace helps increase the rigidity of the lower part of the body and therefore contributes to more predictable vehicle behaviour.
