The vehicle chassis is subjected to high loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.
When driving through a corner, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to 3 times greater force than the other. This can lead to significant bending, deformation and twisting of the chassis, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting while driving through a corner can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower brace helps increase chassis rigidity in the mounting area.
