Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Mercedes-Benz S-Class W126

The vehicle chassis is one of the most heavily loaded parts of the car, as it is affected by body weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and intensive acceleration.

When driving through a corner, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This can cause significant chassis twisting or body deformation, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
