The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
In some cases, the transfer of mass in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. The result is significant chassis flex, as well as twisting and deformation of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Twisting and deformation of the chassis while driving through a corner can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
Ultra Racing chassis braces help to limit these effects.
This version is intended for vehicles with a 2.4 engine and 2WD.
