Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Mitsubishi Outlander I (CU)

The vehicle chassis is one of the most heavily loaded parts, as it is affected by the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, hard braking and sudden acceleration.

When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to 3 times greater than on the other. This causes the chassis or bodywork to bend and twist, which can result in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.

This rear lower chassis brace helps reduce unwanted body movement and improve the stiffness of the rear section of the vehicle.
