A car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is especially true when the body’s weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can result in considerable chassis flex, body deformation and torsional movement, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.

The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to reduce these unwanted body movements.
