The vehicle chassis is one of the most heavily loaded parts, as it is affected by the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When driving through a corner, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes body flex and deformation, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps further connect and stiffen the lower part of the body.
