Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for PQ35 platform (Audi A3 8P, VW Golf VI, VW Scirocco III)

The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to increase body rigidity and reduce flex under heavy loads. During fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to weight transfer, which can cause the body to deform.

When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the chassis to bend and twist, which can consequently result in the tyres losing grip.

Body flex when cornering can affect the vehicle’s handling and cause understeer and oversteer. The brace attaches to 4 mounting points. Based on the stated compatibility, the product is intended for 2WD versions.

Suitable for: Audi A3 II (8P), VW Golf VI (5K1), VW Scirocco III (13).
