The vehicle chassis is subjected to significant loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and intense acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes chassis twisting and deformation, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps increase body rigidity in the mounting area.
