The vehicle chassis is among the parts most heavily affected by the driver’s driving style. When cornering quickly, braking hard or accelerating, vehicle mass transfer affects the bodywork.
In certain situations, mass transfer while cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause greater twisting and bending of the chassis, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The rear lower chassis brace helps reduce body bending by providing an additional connection between the mounting points.

- Compatibility: only for the 2.2 2WD version
