A vehicle’s chassis is subjected to significant loads during dynamic driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When driving through a corner, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause considerable chassis flex or bodywork deformation, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing while driving through a corner can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
This Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to increase the stiffness of the rear section of the bodywork on the Toyota Estima XR50 2.4 4WD, model years 2006–2019.
- 4-point mounting design
- Mounts to the lower rear section of the chassis
Suitable for: Toyota Previa III (XR50).
