The vehicle chassis is exposed to significant loads while driving, especially due to the transfer of the body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes the chassis to twist and the body to deform, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to further reinforce the rear section of the chassis of the Toyota Sienna (XL30) with a 3.5 V6 engine and 2WD. The brace has 4 mounting points and is also suitable for versions without electric tailgate opening (NON POWER BOOT).
