Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Volkswagen Sharan II (7N) 2.0 TDI

The vehicle chassis or body is exposed to high loads during fast driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When driving through corners, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in greater loads on the chassis, as well as body flex and deformation, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis flex and deformation when driving through corners can cause unwanted handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
