Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Volvo S80 II/XC60 I

The car’s chassis is the part of the vehicle subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

When cornering, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This causes significant chassis flex or deformation and torsional twisting of the body, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.

Chassis deformation and flexing during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps increase the rigidity of the rear section of the body. The product has 2 mounting points.
