The vehicle’s chassis is heavily loaded while driving, mainly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When driving through a corner, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the chassis or body to twist and flex, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis twisting when driving through corners can lead to less desirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps increase the rigidity of the rear section of the body.
