Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Volvo XC90 I

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can cause significant twisting and deformation of the chassis or body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps reduce these undesirable effects.
