Ultra Racing rear torsion bar for Dodge Nitro I

A vehicle’s chassis is exposed to heavy loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.

When driving through corners, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This leads to significant chassis twisting or deformation and torsion of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear torsion bar helps further connect and reinforce the chassis at the rear of the vehicle.
