Ultra Racing rear torsion bar for Ford Ranger IV (TKE)

The Ultra Racing rear torsion bar is designed to reinforce the chassis of the Ford Ranger IV (TKE) and has 2 mounting points.

The vehicle chassis is subjected to heavy loads during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration. These loads are mainly caused by the transfer of body weight.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in greater deformation and flexing of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and flexing during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
