The car body is subjected to significant loads during fast driving, mainly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the body to twist and flex, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Body flex while driving through corners can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear upper strut brace connects the upper mounting points and helps reduce unwanted body movement.
