EBC Greenstuff 2000 kočione pločice smatraju se prvim stupnjem poboljšanja kočenja u usporedbi s OE pločicama jer nude bolju kočionu snagu od standardnih OE pločica. Formula »Greenstuff 2000« dodatno je pomaknula granice performansi organskih kočionih materijala. Te kočione pločice imaju posebno osmišljen mekši compound koji je namjerno razvijen za poboljšanje odziva papučice pri uporabi na lakšim automobilima i nižim brzinama. Kao dopuna poboljšanom osjećaju papučice, compound omogućuje umjerene razine prašine koje će vaše felge održavati čistima dulje vrijeme, a istodobno osigurava dug vijek trajanja pločica i minimalno trošenje kočionog diska. Sve EBC Greenstuff 2000 kočione pločice izrađene su u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu i u cijelosti su odobrene prema standardu ECE R90 za zakonitu uporabu na cesti u Europi.
EBC-ova serija Greenstuff 2000 postigla je najveći uspjeh u cestovnoj vožnji i pokazalo se da zaustavlja automobil gotovo 6 metara ranije od originalnih OEM kočionih dijelova. Testiranje je proveo britanski MIRA Motor Vehicle Research Institute.
