EBC RP-X prednje kočione pločice za Porsche Cayman, Porsche 911

EBC Racingov compound RP‑X ultra je učinkovit trkaći compound za kočione pločice, osmišljen za snažna vozila koja se intenzivno voze na stazi te za namjenska trkaća vozila. RP‑X postiže visok koeficijent trenja 0,55 u temperaturnom rasponu 0–850 °C i razvija 100 % kočionog učinka već iz hladnog. To ga svrstava među izvrsne izbore za sprint utrke ili brdske uspone, gdje je puna učinkovitost kočnica nužna bez prethodnog zagrijavanja, a istodobno je RP‑X prikladan za svaku vrstu trkaćih staza gdje su visok početni bite i snažan odziv kočnica poželjni. U usporedbi s EBC RP‑1, RP‑X ima 25 % viši koeficijent trenja u cijelom radnom temperaturnom rasponu te izrazito »odlučniji« početni bite. To ga svojstvo potencijalno čini prikladnijim za teža vozila ili vozila s inherentno slabijim servo sustavom kočnica. Za laka do srednje teška vozila, automobile bez ugrađenih BBK kitova ili vozila bez ABS-a možda je prikladniji manje agresivan trkaći compound.
