ACL Race main bearings with Calico CT-1 coating use a dry film lubricant that helps reduce friction and abrasive wear. The coating provides intermittent dry lubrication and is not affected by dust or dirt.
CT-1 coating provides increased embedability, allowing debris contaminants to embed in the bearing and helping avoid damage to the crankshaft. The bearings are engineered for extreme conditions in high performance engines and provide protection during intermittent oil starvation.
- Calico CT-1 dry film lubricant coating
- Typical coating thickness of 0.00025–0.00030″ or 6–7.5 microns
- Low coefficient of friction and resistance to oil and fuel
- Corrosion protection and reduced drag
- Oil temperature reduction of up to 8–11 °C
Suitable for: Ford Fairlane I (AU) / I (BA) / I (NF) / I (NL), Ford Fairmont II (NA/NC), Ford Falcon II (AU) / IV (EF/AU) / VI (BA) / VI (BF) / VI (EL) / VIII (FG), Ford Territory I (SX/SY).
Engines: 4.0 SOHC I6, Ford 4.0, Barra 4.0 (4.0LINTECH, 4.0LBARRA, 4.0LEF-EL). Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
