ACL Race main bearings are trimetal engine bearings developed for higher RPM conditions. Their construction combines a high-strength overlay, improved heat transfer and reliable bearing retention in the housing.
Increased eccentricity helps compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assists in forming a hydrodynamic oil film. The ACL Race Series main bearing set includes 0.025 mm extra clearance.

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
