CTS Turbo test pipe for Audi S4/S5 B9 3.0T

The CTS Turbo test pipe for the B9 S4/S5 3.0T (EA839) is designed to improve exhaust gas flow and unlock greater performance potential. It replaces the restrictive factory catalytic converter, allowing the engine to flow exhaust gases more freely.

The product was developed using modern CAD technology, ensuring a precise fit in the factory catalytic converter position. It is made from T304 stainless steel, TIG-welded by hand and back-purged with inert gas for long-term reliability.

As well as improving performance, the test pipe produces a more pronounced sporty sound. With the factory exhaust system, it creates a sporty, deep rumble and more pronounced pops on downshifts. On upshifts, the sound is more pronounced, especially when quickly changing through all 8 gears. With an aftermarket exhaust system, the sound will be even louder.

After removing the catalytic converter, the check engine light (CEL) will illuminate. An appropriate software adjustment to the engine electronics is required to eliminate it. The use of a Stage 2 software upgrade is strongly recommended. CEL error eliminators and lambda sensor spacers are not effective on B9 S4/S5 models.
