Forge Motorsport oil catch can for VW Golf 6 GTI/Scirocco III/Škoda Octavia II

This oil catch can kit is the result of several months of intensive development by the in-house development team. The finished product is a complete oil vapour collection system designed to capture as much harmful contamination as possible, including oil deposits, unburnt fuel vapours and moisture that would otherwise return to the engine’s intake system.

Extensive testing has shown that the kit effectively reduces the build-up of sludge and sooty deposits. The TSI engine in the Golf Mk6 can therefore breathe and operate more efficiently. The kit is particularly worthwhile for vehicles intended for further performance-enhancing modifications.

The 0.4-litre (400 cm³) oil catch can allows for easy inspection and draining. It is equipped with a dipstick for checking the level and a suitably positioned drain tap.

The inner hose is made from smooth, anti-static and fuel-resistant nitrile rubber. The outer protection is made from reinforced stainless steel wire braid—with a partial inner braid and a complete outer protective braid. This construction provides resistance to pressure-induced stretching and vacuum-induced collapse, and allows operation in a temperature range from -54 °C to +150 °C (-65 °F to 300 °F).

The kit also includes two oil-resistant hoses with stainless steel reinforcement and a black outer braid. Combined with the supplied fittings, the appearance after installation is similar to the original equipment, so the engine cover can also be fitted in its original position.
