The GFB FX-R fuel pressure regulator features:
- 2 -6AN inlet ports, 2 1/8″ NPT ports for a pressure gauge or sensor, and 1 -6AN return port
- flow rate of up to 1300 l/h at 25 psi
- 1:1 fuel pressure rise rate
- dual, additionally reinforced diaphragm with a burst strength of over 500 psi
- teflon copolymer seat with a stainless steel ball valve for longer fuel pressure retention after engine shutdown
- spring preload adjustment screw sealed with an O-ring to prevent vacuum or boost pressure leaks
- adjustable static pressure from 25 to 80 psi
- fully serviceable design
GFB FX Series EFI fuel pressure regulators complement the existing product range, developed with the same precision, quality and reliability on which the GFB brand’s reputation is built.
Whether you use petrol, ethanol, methanol or diesel fuel, and either a single small pump or a high-performance three-pump system, the GFB FX series is suitable for a range of fuel system requirements.
What sets it apart from the competition? If you are looking for an EFI fuel pressure regulator that seals and operates similarly to a factory regulator, but offers greater reliability and higher flow, the FX series is the right choice.
How is this achieved? GFB has developed a unique replaceable copolymer valve seat.
What does this mean? Typical higher-performance aftermarket fuel pressure regulators often use a metal valve and metal seat. By nature, this design does not provide reliable pressure retention after engine shutdown, which can make restarting more difficult.
GFB uses a softer, more flexible but durable material for the valve seat. It reliably seals the system and retains fuel pressure after engine shutdown, providing factory-like sealing and reliable starting. The material is resistant to unleaded petrol, ethanol, methanol and diesel fuel.
The dual diaphragm contains twice as much reinforcing material, giving it a burst strength exceeding 500 psi.
Multiple inlet and gauge ports allow for different fuel system configurations, including parallel fuel rail feed or returnless systems (“deadhead”). Two gauge ports allow a mechanical fuel pressure gauge and a fuel pressure sensor for the engine control unit to be used simultaneously.
