The vehicle chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest stress during dynamic driving. This is mainly caused by the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, hard braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can cause noticeable bending and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Bending and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
This B–C pillar brace helps increase body stiffness. It has 4 mounting points.
Suitable for: Honda Civic VI (EJ/EK).
