The front section of the chassis is subjected to high loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front lower brace is designed to increase chassis stiffness at the front of the vehicle. It attaches to 4 mounting points.
