The vehicle chassis is subjected to heavy loads during fast driving, particularly due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When driving through a corner, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to 3 times greater than on the other side. This can cause significant twisting and bending of the chassis or bodywork, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis twisting when driving through corners can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace is designed to increase the stiffness of the front section of the bodywork. The design has 4 mounting points.
