The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace is designed to increase the rigidity of the vehicle body, which is subjected to significant loads from weight transfer during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can lead to excessive flexing, deformation and twisting of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace helps limit these unwanted movements of the body.
