The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.
When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to experience up to three times more load than the other. This causes significant chassis flex, as well as deformation and torsional loads in the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front lower brace helps further connect and reinforce the chassis at the front of the vehicle. The brace has 2 mounting points.
The product is intended for the Lexus LS 460 (XF40) with a 4.6 V8 engine and 2WD.
