The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace is designed to increase body stiffness during dynamic driving. The chassis is among the parts of the vehicle subjected to the greatest loads due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to loads up to three times greater than the other. This results in significant deformation and flexing of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
