Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Mercedes-Benz GLK X204

A car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

In some cases, weight transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to three times more force than the other. This can result in significant chassis flex, as well as body deformation and torsion, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
