Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Mitsubishi Lancer Evo V CP9A

A car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly noticeable when the body mass is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

In some cases, mass transfer in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This causes significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or body, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting when driving through corners can cause unwanted handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.

The brace is designed to reduce twisting of the front section of the chassis.
