The vehicle chassis is subjected to significant loads due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration. The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace connects the suspension mounting points and helps reduce body flex and deformation.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can increase significantly compared with the other side, affecting chassis stiffness and tyre grip. Reducing flex can help make the vehicle’s behaviour more predictable and limit undesirable characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
